New project on dual-comb LiDAR (1 December 2021)

We start a new pilot project today with the Future Metrology Hub at the University of Huddersfield. Using the new technique of two-photon dual-comb LiDAR, our project aims to evaluate the feasibility of using two-photon dual-comb ranging for 3D Volumetric Positioning and Tracking.

We're very pleased to welcome Eng.D. student Ben Szutor into the group. Ben is working towards his EngD with Unik Lasers, in a project developing narrow-linewidth 813-nm lasers for quantum metrology.
